CONSULTATIONS ARE FREE!
Yes. I strongly prefer in-person consultations for all projects so I can get measurements, go over placement, brainstorm ideas, and make sure we’re on the same page. If needed, I can also do a virtual consultation through FaceTime or Zoom. If we book a virtual consultation, please have a measuring tape handy!

Consultations can take up to an hour, so keep that in mind

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Every appointment requires a deposit.

• Standard deposit: $150

• Large scale projects (2+ sessions): $300 minimum

Deposits are non-refundable and go toward your drawing time and reserved appointment slot.

How do I pay the deposit?
I accept Venmo, Zelle, or cash for deposits and gift certificates.

How much do tattoos cost?

• Minimum: $150

• Half day: $660 tax included

• Full day: $1320 tax included

I also do smaller tattoos that don’t fall under a half day.

How do I pay the remaining balance?
The remaining balance is cash only the day of your appointment.

My main admin day is Tuesday, so if you don’t hear from me before then, that’s usually when I’ll reply. I may respond sooner for healing questions, if you’re running late, day-of appointment questions, or urgent scheduling issues.

At this time, I work by appointment only. BUT!! Sometimes I do have walk-in availability and will post on my instagram. On those days you’ll be able to call/text the shop phone to see if I’m available (253)419-0767

Most appointments start at 12pm. I also sometimes have 4pm availability depending on the project and the other appointments I have for the week.

• Half day: 12pm–4pm or 4pm-8pm

• Full day: 12pm–8pm, with a lunch break around 4–4:30pm

I stop tattooing by 8:15pm.

I understand things come up, so if you need to reschedule, just let me know and we can figure out a better time. Please try to give 24–48 hours notice if possible.

• your deposit can be moved to a new appointment date

• after the second reschedule, we’ll reevaluate moving forward

• if there is a third reschedule, a new deposit is required to continue booking

If you are 30 minutes late or more, we may need to reschedule depending on the day.
If there is a no call / no show, your deposit is forfeited and I will not book you again.

When will I see the design?
You’ll see it at your appointment, and we’ll have time to make adjustments if needed.

What counts as a minor vs major change?
Minor changes are things that take about 30 minutes or less, like small size tweaks, slight placement changes, or minor detail adjustments.

Major changes are things that change the overall plan, like changing the subject, changing the style, making it much bigger, moving it to a different part of the body, or making major composition changes.

Major changes may require a reschedule, a new consultation + deposit, or I may decline the new request. Bigger size changes may also affect price.

What if I want stencil changes?
Please say something. I want you to feel comfortable speaking up and asking questions. I don’t take it personally. I want it to feel right before we start.

What kind of references should I send?
A few clear references are always better than a huge mix of ideas. Keeping the concept simpler usually makes for a stronger tattoo. It also helps a lot if you include examples of my work that you like.

Can I send AI references?
Try to avoid sending AI images. They usually don’t translate well into tattoos and won’t be copied.

Do you copy tattoos?
No. I do not tattoo other artists’ custom work or copy tattoos exactly. I can use references for inspiration, but it will never be a copy.

Exceptions: loved one’s handwriting, loved one’s drawings, or personal drawings.

Do you repeat flash?
Usually no. Most of my work is custom, so I prefer designs to feel like they’re yours. If a flash design you liked was already claimed, I’m happy to come up with something similar. Matching flash tattoos for friends or family are the main exception.

If you don’t quite see your idea listed above that’s ok! I’d still love to see your idea and it may be something I’d love to do! If something is outside my style or I don’t feel like I’m the best fit, I’ll be honest and refer you out.

What should I bring?
Please bring:

A valid photo ID or passport — you must be 18+.

• snacks or drinks if you want

• headphones, a tablet, blanket, pillow, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable

We also have snacks, drinks, and face masks available at the shop.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes — one guest only, and they must be 18 or older. Please let me know beforehand if you’d like to bring a guest

Continuous projects must have the next session booked within 12 months of the last appointment. If a project is left inactive for one year or longer:

• Deposits are forfeited: Past deposits are lost to cover design hold fees.

• Pricing resets: Original quoted rates will no longer apply.

• New booking required: Resuming the piece requires a new quote and a new deposit.

Do you do cover-ups?
Sometimes, yes. Cover-ups usually need to be bigger than the original tattoo, and sometimes laser is needed first. Not every tattoo can be covered successfully, so I only take them on if I’m confident I can help.

Do you tattoo hands, fingers, feet, or face?
Possibly, but those placements are case by case. They tend to heal differently, fade faster, and often need more maintenance.

What should I do before my appointment?
Please:

• eat beforehand

• stay hydrated

• get decent sleep

• avoid coming in sick or sunburnt

If you plan on swimming or using a hot tub within 2 weeks after your appointment, we may need to reschedule.

What if the tattoo area is irritated?
Please let me know ahead of time if the area has a rash, irritation, acne, cuts, scrapes, or sunburn. If the skin isn’t in good shape the day of, we may need to reschedule.

What should I wear?
Wear something stretchy and comfortable that gives access to the area being tattooed. If you’re unsure, let me know and I can help with outfit suggestions.

Is the shop ADA accessible?
Yes. The shop and bathroom are ADA compliant, the sidewalks that lead to the shop have ramps, there are no steps in the shop, and there is plenty of space for wheelchairs.

My TATSoul Oros chair has a 400 lb weight capacity, and we also have massage tables available up to 800 lbs if needed.

Privacy

Do you have a private space available?
Yes. There is also a private suite in the shop available if needed for comfort, privacy, or accessibility. If that would make you more comfortable, just let me know ahead of time.

Yes! One complimentary touch-up is included within 6 months of your appointment, provided aftercare instructions were followed. Touch-ups requested after 6 months, or on high-wear areas (hands, feet, fingers), will be charged a standard fee or wrapped into your next paid session.

What do I need to know about healing?
We’ll go over aftercare at your appointment, and aftercare products are available at the shop.

While healing, avoid:

• swimming

• hot tubs

• baths / submerging the tattoo

• pets touching the tattoo

• picking or scratching it

Touch-ups are included within 6 months if needed, once the tattoo is fully healed.

What products should I use while healing?
Generally:

• gentle unscented soap

• light unscented lotion

• tattoo aftercare products I approve

Avoid heavily fragranced products, harsh exfoliants, random ointments, or over-moisturizing. I’ll go over my exact recommendations with you.

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes.

• Minimum: $150

• must be used for work in my style

• appointment must be booked within 1 year

• non-refundable

• cannot be exchanged for cash

Gift certificates act as a credit toward the tattoo total, so they may not cover the full price depending on the project.
